Korla Awgust Kocor (1822 - 1904) bì jedyn z najznaæi¹ich serbskich komponistow. Te¾ melodija za tutón spìw je z jeho pjera. S³owa napisa³ je 1840 w Nowych Boranecach rod¼eny Jan Æìsla - zawìsæe te¾ pod wliwom a zaæi¹æom wosobinskeje ty¹nosæe. W spìwje jewi so ¾ed¼ba za bjezstarostnym, wìènym ¾iwjenjom.

Korla Awgust Kocor (1822 - 1904) zählt zu den bedeutendsten sorbischen Komponisten. Auch dieses Lied stammt aus seiner Feder. Den Text dazu schrieb der Arzt, Dichter und Übersetzer Jan Æìsla unter dem Eindruck trauriger persönlicher Erfahrungen. Im Lied schwingt eine Sehnsucht nach unbesorgtem und ewigem Leben mit.

Korla Awgust Kocor (1822-1904) belongs to the most important Sorbian composers. This song was written by him, too. The text was written by the doctor, poet and translator Jan Æìsla. He wrote it under impressions of his own sad experiences. In the song sounds the yearning for a unconcerned and eternal life.

Im Jahre 1933 wurden in Radibor die Glocken der Pfarrkirche geweiht. Aus diesem Anlass schrieb der Dorflehrer Micha³ Nawka (1885 - 1968) das Gedicht "Zwony/Glocken". Zehn Jahre später komponierte Bjarnat Krawc sein weltliches Oratorium "Wójna a mìr/Krieg und Frieden". Dazu bat er Nawka, sein Gedicht für das Oratorium zu überarbeiten. Mitten im 2.Weltkrieg entstanden, spricht aus diesem Lied eine tiefe Sehnsucht nach Frieden.

In 1933 the bells of the Radibor Parish Church were consecrated. On this occasion wrote the teacher Micha³ Nawka (1885-1968) the poem "Zwony/Bells". Ten years later - when Bjarnat Krawc had composed his secular oratorio "Wójna a mìr/War and Peace" - he asked Nawka to revise the poem for his oratorio. In the midst of World War Two his work of music created sounds like a deep yearning for peace.

Die Worte des 1852 in Neschwitz geborenen Jan Hajnca sind auch in der Gegenwart eine eindringliche Bitte: Möge sich jeder Sorbe auch in Zukunft für den Erhalt seines kleinen Volkes einsetzen.

A song which expresses the most important matter of the Sorbian people: the maintenance of its identity and mother tongue. In the words by Jan Hajnca (born 1852 in Neschwitz) sounds also today the very urgent request: Everyone of us should give one's support for the maintenance of a small nation.
