Radwor's "Meja" is an excellent Sorbian Choir, but what would it be for its members without the opportunities of outside performance gatherings and get together? "Meja" is like a one big family.

You have to give it to them. The Meja association in its 108 years of existence has more members then ever before, and it can also be proud of its age ratio.

Serbske Nowiny, 30 December 2002, about Christmas concert in Radwor.

The St. Paul's Lutheran church in Serbin, during the Sorbian Fest's Sunday services was entirely filled. When the choir "Meja" began to sing the songs from home of our ancestors we had tears in our eyes. Thoughts immediately run to our forefathers, who have at on the very same church benches.
Sandra Matthijetz from Houston, Texas; October 2002 after choir's tour in Texas, from the magazine Pomhaj Bóh.

When I sat in Serbin's church and was listening to the hymns sung by the choir, I was imagining that these beautiful songs were similar to the once heard by my great-grandfather and great-grandmother in the same church. And once again I understood how luck I am to be able to experience this myself.
Jan Slack from Austin, Texas; October 2002 after choir's tour in Texas, from the magazine Pomhaj Bóh.

Will we the Lusatian Sorbs be looking someday for our roots like the descendents of Sorbs in Texas today? There the Sorbian national identity after 1854 quickly crumbles. The efforts of Jan Kilian and his compatriots were unable to prevent this. We should be careful that the same faith does not reach us here in Lusatia.
Serbske Nowiny, 4 October 2002, after performances in Serbin and in Austin,Texas.

A hundred-year-old who seems vivacious and young.
Sächsische Zeitung Dresden, January 14, 1995 to the centenary of the choir

For the members of the Sorbian choir "Meja" is singing on the one hand hobby, on the other hand an important task, too. The singers are committed Sorbs who are aware of their cultural heritage, and the term "tradition" is of great significance. Almost all of them speak the Sorbian language in their families, too. /.../ Undoubtedly "Meja" has decisive influenced the cultural life in the community Radibor in the last hundred years.
